October ’17 Challenge Review and November Challenge

How’d my 30-day challenge in October go? I challenged myself to work on my foot mobility. Frankly, I did a crap job of this one.

What Happened?

I started off strong for about the first 10 days. Then I got caught up in all my side projects and worked my little tail off. I even skipped climbing a few times to have more time to get all of my stuff done.

Not a valid excuse at all. I only needed to spend 10 or 15 minutes a day on this, but once my schedule got to a major time crunch, stretching my calves and feet became a pretty low priority. Happily, I’ve finished the project that was soaking all my time!

What About November?

Really, I should make this my challenge again for November. But I have a better plan. See, this month I’m going to make coming up with a life plan my goal. 30 days may seem like a long time to nail this one down, but I already feel like it’s going to be a tough timeline.

The reason I decided to focus on a plan this month is because if don’t have one, I’ll keep getting pulled off my course and these 30-day challenges will fall by the wayside. I started doing these 30-day challenges so I could work on my shortcomings and better my life.

If I don’t have some sort of goal I’m working toward long-term, how in the world can I know if these challenges are helping me get there or not!? It’s time I took a little of my own advice.

What about you? Are you going to take a 30-day challenge this month? What’s it going to be?
