Make Bacon at Home

Making bacon at home is really easy. You only need a cut of pork belly, also labeled pork side sometimes, and course ground salt. You can get inventive and try adding other spices during the curing as you get more experience.

I’ll walk you through how I make bacon at home. It’s a simple process that requires little effort and the bacon is ready in about a month. And before you ask, no I don’t smoke my bacon.
