You’d Think I Know This, But Eating Is Important

I’ve been really busy the past few weeks. My side project Throat Punch Thursday takes up a fair amount of time and I’ve been doing a few other video side projects. It’s funny, you’d think I were trying to start a videography business as much as I shoot and edit!

Why I Haven’t Been Eating Enough

Usually, when I get really busy I tend to give up sleep to get more done. Yeah, yeah, I know I know better, but it’s my pattern.

This time instead of giving up sleep I’ve been eating less and sleeping about my normal amount. I have to say, I think I like sleeping less better.

I have a strong background in nutrition and I know what not eating enough can do. It wasn’t even planned, it just happened. Not my best option. It leaves me tired no matter how much sleep I get and I always feel stressed out.

When I don’t sleep enough, I just feel tired. It doesn’t give me the same miserable side effects. Lesson learned, make food a priority. This revelation is actually downright silly. It’s a no-brainer.

No food, no Ben. That’s what happens when I’m cheap in the wrong ways combined with pressed for time. I could just pick some food up at work, but I’ve been too cheap trying to save money. It’s also been a poor scheduling issue. Now, I’m going to have to make it a major priority. Duh Ben…

I guess I’ll also have to start doing something I hate doing, but that’s a topic for a different post.
