Movement of the Week: Lifting and Carrying

Last week we covered the deadlift. Now we’re going to take the practical deadlift to the next level. Once you pick something up and you need to take it somewhere, how do you carry it?

I’ll cover the technique of lapping so that you can free your hands to re grab the object. And then I’ll show you three carry positions: the low carry, high carry, and the shoulder carry.

The three positions will help you get the object into a position that will let you move the object when you need to get it.
