I’m currently out of the country so I haven’t had a chance to do much writing recently. Everyone here’s passed out and I’m waiting for my phone to charge so I can go into town. Sooooooo I thought I’d jump on and offer a little insight to keeping moving while traveling.I’m in Iceland right now. If you haven’t been, go buy a plane ticket now. The thing I love about coming here is that I walk almost everywhere. It’s nothing for me to walk about 6 miles in a day just going from place to place. The city’s beautiful and it’s way more fun that driving.
This is probably the best way to keep moving when traveling. There was a time when I was hardcore and would try to get in a few structured workouts while traveling, but it never really worked out. There was never enough time. So now I just try to stay outside as much as possible.
Another great thing about being in a foreign country is that much of what’s on TV doesn’t make sense. Different language and all that. This forces me to find other ways to spend my time. So, go outside!
The hardest thing about traveling really, is trying not to eat out too much. Sometimes there’s no option, but if you do something like AirBNB, you can usually get a full kitchen. You can save a lot of money and still eat good food this way.
