I’ve decided that I’m not doing any more 30-day challenges. Wel… that’s not entirely accurate. I will still be doing challenges for myself. I just don’t want it to be on arbitrary calendar days. I’ve decided to tie my goals into the natural world a little bit more.
A Different Kind of 30-day challenge
If I’m still doing challenges but not tying them to a calendar, how will I track my time? Easy! I will now be doing new moon challenges! Instead of going from the first day of the month till the last day of the month, I’ll be going from the first day of the moon until the last day of the moon.
Since yesterday was the new moon, it’s a great time to launch new moon challenge number one! This month my goal is to post a new YouTube video every Monday morning. I’ve been pretty good about getting a video up every week. But I’ve been dreadful about post day consistency.
I need this whole video thing to be a habit I can stick with and for people to know that my videos will be there on a certain day. The only way that’s going to happen is if I post at a consistent time on a consistent day. The next full moon is February 15th. That means I have four Mondays I have to post on before the next full moon.
